โ๏ธ Band Camp Safety
July in South Carolina is HOT. Safety is our highest priority, but parents can help by making sure students arrive well-rested, hydrated, and prepared each day. Please take a few minutes to review the below Heat Safety Guide with your student before camp begins.
โญ First Time Families
New to marching band? Welcome! We know there can be a lot of questions during your first season. We've attached a helpful guide created especially for first-time band parents, and we hope you'll also join us for the Rookie Parent Meeting on July 21 at 7:30 PM just before the All Parents Season Kickoff Meeting.
๐ Feeding the Fury
Band Camp is one of the busiest and most physically demanding weeks of our season. Between long rehearsals, summer heat, and countless steps on the practice field, keeping our students fueled and hydrated is essential. Here's how you can help.
๐ฝ๏ธ Band Camp Dinners
During Full Band Camp (July 20โ24), we'll be offering optional dinners for students who aren't able to leave campus during the dinner break or whose families need the convenience of having a meal provided for them.
Meals must be selected in advance and parents will be invoiced through BoosterHub.

๐ฅจ Snack Squad
Help us keep the Band of Fury energized throughout Band Camp!
Each section is being asked to help bring in snacks for the week. Simply choose one or more items from the signup, purchase them, and bring them with you when you drop off your student on Monday, July 20.
A few things to know:
- Once an item has been selected, it will automatically disappear from the signup.
- You're welcome to claim multiple items.
- You may also donate snacks for another section if you'd like.
- Items are divided into Needed and Extra categories to help us prioritize.
Our students are expected to enjoy 500+ snacks during Band Camp, and every contribution helps keep them fueled for success.

๐ Band Camp Chaperones Needed
During the dinner break each day of Full Band Camp (July 20โ24), our staff also needs an opportunity to take a break before the final evening rehearsal. We're looking for volunteers to help chaperone students who stay behind during the dinner break so staff has an opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved meal and recharge.
This is a simple but extremely helpful volunteer opportunity. Chaperones will help provide adult supervision and ensure students remaining on campus have a safe environment while they eat and relax before rehearsal resumes.
If you have a couple of hours to spare, we'd greatly appreciate your support!

๐ Styling the Fury
Marching season is upon us, and we're getting our students performance-ready!
Uniform Sizing
We were able to size most students before school let out for summer. If your student was not fitted, don't worryโwe'll take care of their fitting during the first few days of Band Camp.
Even if your student was previously sized, please have them let our uniform volunteer know if they've had a significant growth spurt over the summer. We'd much rather take a few extra minutes to refit a uniform than have a student perform all season in one that's uncomfortable or doesn't fit properly.
Uniform Design
Many of you have seen the initial concept artwork for this year's marching uniform. As previously shared, the initial design is currently being refined based on valuable feedback from our students, staff, and community.
This year's production, The Pack, celebrates the strength and resilience that comes working together toward a common goal. Our goal is to create a look that not only complements the story we're telling on the field, but is also something our students are proud to wear.
Stay tunedโwe look forward to sharing updated designs as they become available!

๐ฐ Fueling the Fury
Our fundraising efforts directly support the Band of Fury experience while helping keep costs as low as possible for every family. This year, we're expanding our fundraising program with exciting new opportunities, but we'll need everyone working together to make it a success.
๐ InstaRaise is Here!
Our first major fundraiser of the season is almost here!
- July 13โ15: Students will receive introductory information and fundraising materials.
- July 20: InstaRaise officially kicks off!
- August 11: Fundraiser Ends
Our goal is 100% participation.
This isn't about a few families raising thousands of dollarsโit's about every family getting involved. When everyone participates, we can continue growing our program while working collectively to reduce the financial burden on every Band of Fury family.
๐ Looking Ahead
Mark your calendars for these exciting fundraising events:
- ๐ Car Wash โ August 15, 2026 (9:00 AM โ 1:00 PM) at First Bank
- ๐ญ Talent Show โ January 28, 2027
- โณ Golf Tournament โ March 20, 2027
More information will be shared as each event approaches.
๐ค It Takes All of Us
Growing our fundraising program is a major focus this year. Every dollar we raise helps strengthen the Band of Fury experience. The support we generate helps provide uniforms, instruments, transportation, meals, equipment, competition opportunities, and the resources needed to help every student learn, perform, and succeed. Together, we have an incredible opportunity to build a more sustainable future for our program.
Our vision isn't for one person to do everythingโit's to build a team where many people each contribute in the ways they enjoy most.
Whether you're experienced with planning events, talking with local businesses, organizing behind the scenes, sending emails, making flyers, stuffing envelopes, or simply want to lend a hand where needed, there's a place for you on our team.
Fundraising needs help in these areas:
- Community Sponsorships
- Golf Tournament Coordination
- Talent Show Coordination
- Winter Fundraiser Coordination
- Research Grants & Apply Online
- Greenville Drive Coordination
Memories aren't made only on the field. Some of the most rewarding moments happen behind the scenes, working alongside other Band of Fury families to make this season unforgettable.
If you can help with just one or two areas, let us know. Together we can accomplish far more than any one person could alone.
๐ง Interested in getting involved? We'd love to hear from you!
Every great marching seasonโs foundation is built by students, directors, volunteers, sponsors, and families working together. Thank you for investing your time, encouragement, and support into the Band of Fury. We can't wait to kick off another incredible season with all of you.
Who are we? BAND OF FURY!!
